This desk was one of several nurse stations and reception desks that StudioCraft partnered with a dealer to provide for a hospital renovation and a new construction build. These facilities were designed by national architects (NBBJ & Array). The desks highlighted our ability to be a flexible solution provider as some of the desks we created were full millwork that wrapped systems frames (custom fascia), we built transaction tops for systems furniture stations, and we also collaboratively developed an innovative approach to touchdown stations.
The design of this desk featured a curving laminate façade that wrapped systems furniture, and also had a curved Corian transaction top and apron which offered the desired flowing design with a high level of performance and durability.
